Seven victims of road accidents severely prejudiced by amendments brought about by the RAF Amendment Act and Regulations of 2008, will apply to the North gauteng high Court tomorrow to be joined as co-applicants with the LSSA.

The Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) issued court papers on 27 February 2009 to be served on the Minister of Transport and the Road Accident Fund (RAF), challenging the constitutionality and legality of the Road Accident Fund Amendment Act 19 or 2005 and some of its regulations, which came into effect in August 2008.
